How far can I separate Guest Module from the innkeeper? |

Although the manual states the maximum distance of 50 feet, we have
tested successful operation at 100 feet with standard modular cable. Keep in mind
that several factors determine the maximum usable cable length. Keep cable away from
electrical noise sources such as florescent lights, data cables, and computer monitors.
You can improve your chances in a high noise environment by using shielded cable with
the shield terminated to the innkeeper ground terminal. |

Can I use Guest Module with a competitors digital hybrid? How about
if I made an adapter cable to their accessory connector? |

Sorry, but when we designed innkeeper, we designed Guest Module as
well. Innkeeper sends the touch tones down the phone line but not into the mix output
or headphone circuit. Also, the Call and Drop buttons share one pin on the modular
cable. It would not be easy to connect the Guest Module to any other Hybrid. |
