What is the difference between the original BlueDriver-F3/M3 and the new S-Series? |

The original BlueDriver F3 and M3 offer full-duplex, Hands-Free, voice-band connections using the XLR and 3.5 mm jacks in separate send and receive roles. They can easily switch between Master and Slave devices.
The new S-Series models consists of dedicated transmitters (Masters) or receivers (Slaves), where both the XLR and 3.5 mm jacks perform the same transmit or receive function. The S-Series are limited to full bandwidth A2DP connections and do not support Hands-Free connections. |

Do the BDRVF3S or BDRVF5S provide Phantom Power? |

No. The microphone must be dynamic, or an electret that includes an internal battery. |

Will the BDRVF3S or BDRVF5S work with an unbalanced electret mic? |

Yes. The female XLR jacks connect to an AC coupled differential amplifier that accepts balanced or unbalanced input. |

What is the range of the transmitter/receiver? |

BlueDriver transmits and receives audio signals up to 40 feet from your Bluetooth wireless technology enabled device. Maximum range of the device paired to the BlueDriver also determines the usable distance. Many devices only have a maximum range of 10 feet. |

How long does it take to recharge the battery? |

BlueDriver can fully charge the internal battery in about 2 1/2 hours. These batteries do not have a "charging memory" and they can be recharged at any time without changing their life expectancy. |

How long will the charge on the battery last? |

Based on tests with BlueDriver about 1 meter from a Bluetooth device, the battery should last for about 10 hours under normal use. As an indicator of low battery, the blue LED will grow dim and then extinguish a short while before the battery is completely exhausted and the unit shuts down. |

How do I replace the battery in this unit? |

Will the BlueDriver F3S or F5S work with my condenser mic? |

BlueDriver-F3S and F5S do not provide phantom power to condenser microphones. |
